EmberCare

Health Tracking Project

EmberCare is a working-name project born from something personal. Ravi's youngest son, Avyan, is under two and experiences febrile seizures. This project exists to help Ravi and his wife Aruna track early signs, manage the critical periods, and respond with more confidence when things don't feel right.

Why this matters

Febrile seizures are more common than most people realise, but when it happens to your child, the experience is overwhelming. The gap between “the doctor says it's usually fine” and “watching it happen at home” is enormous. EmberCare is being built to close that gap with better tracking and more confidence in the moment.

What it does

EmberCare helps track the signs that tend to precede an episode — temperature patterns, behaviour changes, sleep disruption. The goal is to give parents a clearer picture over time so they can act earlier and feel more prepared, not less.

Where it stands

EmberCare is private for now. It's being built around Avyan's specific situation, and the priority is getting it right for one family first. The intention is to open-source it over time, so that other parents facing similar situations can benefit from what we learn along the way.

A note

This project is not a medical tool and does not replace professional advice. It's a parent's effort to be better prepared — built with care, grounded in real experience.
